City, State: New York, NY Comments: Dear Richard, I wanted to thank you so much for the heartfelt program you did last night (May 29, 2020) for Bill and Dorothy Berloni and their Theatrical Animal Fund. When the theater community was forced to close down due to the pandemic, it became very clear that Bill would not be able to resume work for a very long time. In my opinion, people who are dealing with various hardships can often find a way to cope, but animals need us to take care and maintain their lives. I thought a GoFundMe page would be the best way to help Bill, Dorothy and their animals. I contacted my good friend Adam Kantor to help me to put it together. It’s been so heartwarming to witness the response. And your wonderful program last night was a highlight of our fundraising campaign! You gathered so many of Bills friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry. I could see the emotion that Bill had as your guests recalled their experience with him and his wonderful animals.
