I swear you are Joel Grey crossed with Charlie Rose, with a soupcon of Bette Midler thrown in for good measure. City, State: Nyack, NY Website: Www.bobbybelfry.com Comments: For the more than 25 years I have known Richard, his extraordinary talent and generosity were always on full-display, including this past weekend (1/15/17) when he was one of many performers on a bill for a program I produced, "The Bobby Belfry All Star Jam"; everyone else on the bill were more or less "rockers", with a little Broadway, for good measure. Still, what and who Richard is might have seemed very much out of place. Not only did he deliver the goods, but he brought such a debt of joy and humor, that he brought the house down and enhanced everyone else's performance(s). City, State: cold spring, ny Comments: What I love about watching your interviews is that I am immediately transported to my adolescence and all of a sudden I have a best friend. Or any friend. Your ease with the guests and insightful questioning is wonderful, but what really makes me "kvell" (and I'm Catholic) is the joy you have in what you are doing and the questions you are asking are exactly what I want to know. Just makes my heart so full.
