City, State: Jersey City, New Jersey Comments: I think the first time Richard Skipper and I met was on the Titanic...what I admired about him was that he was so way ahead of the Captain , the crew and the builder by bringing his own personal inflated row boat which got us to the shores of the Bronx before the actual sinking and had time to do a Carol Channing skit at the Joan Crawford clinic for wayward girls..how clever of him! However to say anything about this extraordinary man would only be redundant, simply because all the most unique, outrageous and overwhelming wonders about him have already preceded him...Richard Skipper is Richard Skipper and in some ways a sort of Lon Chaney of a thousand faces and always surprising one with something remarkable and definitely know that he will always have something extraordinary waiting in the wings to present..I admire him greatly for designing such a wonderful persona woven from the fabric of Merlin's magic which sets him apart from the outside world... City, State: Philadelphia, Pa. Comments: I attended the Richard Skipper Celebrates...the Salon at Etcetera, Etcetera, last night, on 1/11/15. This was my first time attending the Salon, but not the first time attending a Richard Skipper event. Once again, I was blown away. Not only does he seem hosting events like this easy, but he can sing! I come from out of town when Richard hosts his events, and it's well worth it! Craig Witham, Philadelphia, Pa.
City, State: Northport, NY Website: www.margaretwhiting.com, www.burningbushmusic.com Comments: Richard Skipper hosted THE SALON-NYC's show last night (1/11/15). It was a extremely, fast paced and organized evening of multi entertainers performing one song each...Richard had the place moving. I was so impressed. Being a professional spectator, I really appreciated this. He also sings great and his humor is flawless. He had Carol Woods and myself laughing all night. If I were to describe Richard in one word, which AIN'T easy Folks, it would be DELIGHTFUL. -Debbi Bush Whiting, www.margaretwhiting.com, www.burningbushmusic.com
City, State: Durham, North Carolina Website: www.aspectsofentertainment.com Comments: Always expect to expect the "unexpected" when the world shows up and presents you with some wonderful gifts. This happened to me the other day when RICHARD SKIPPER made an appearance on my Facebook page, asking if he could interview me for his blog. A man with many talents and experience in the entertainment industry, I am profoundly grateful to Richard for seeing the value that the people of this industry have, such as myself, and for providing us with the opportunity to share it with his audience through his website and blog. You are indeed an angel Richard and rightfully deserve all the success that you've worked for and extended a helping hand to others on the same road. Thank you Richard.
