City, State: Ringwood, NJ Comments: Richard Skipper really made me forget I was watching Richard. I became so engrossed in his performance, that I came away feeling as if I spent an evening with Ms. Channing herself. I learned a little about her life, I enjoyed some of her wonderful songs, and took a way a memory that I will hold dear for a very long time. Thank you Richard. I am proud to call him friend. To see her and her husband Harry was a great experience. But I also tip my hat to this thoughtful intellect of the New York entertainment scene who has his pulse on what is really happening in the New York entertainment world, Richard Skipper. Richard did a wonderful job interviewing her. I can understand why Miss Carol loves this man. As a sports announcer and emcee myself, I appreciate Richard's attitude and attention to detail. Richard is one of Broadway's and New York cabaret's important voices. He gives a stage and a platform to those in the know, the movers and the shakers. He has taken on the responsibility of calling attention about what a great Constitution the performing arts are. Something, sadly is missing from the everyday media coverage. It's not the celebrity that Richard cares about but the long range impact. As the great baseball pitcher Dizzy Dean used to say, "It ain't bragging if you can do it." Richard Skipper does it! He has my support and so do a lot of the patrons of cabaret and Broadway. Richard has the passion--you don't learn this..you are born with it. Always stop by this site when you want to REALLY know!
