City, State: NYC Comments: I thought the Seminar was very good! Hats off to all involved--Richard, panelists Sidney and Jamie-- and their colleagues-- and the Board/MAC volunteers. It was good to see a large house for a MAC event and the NY Comedy Club was a good and welcome space in which to do it. May this freshly made history repeat itself! Jude
City, State: NYC Comments: What a wonderful, wonderful evening! Thank you, Richard. You are the perfect moderator and the panel was heaven. A BIG thank you to everyone who contributed, signing up new members, getting the books and just helping spread the feeling of unity. I think everyone in attendance was impressed. RR
City, State: NYC Website: http://www.JamiedeRoy.com Comments: It was excellent and I was proud to be part of it. I enjoyed listening to everyone........ Congrats Richard. I was SO GLAD Al Martin made the offer to me of the larger downstairs room - which is their main room, as we would not have fit everyone in had he insisted on the first floor room. It was a perfect size.............. but had it been a small turnout - it would have not felt so perfect, so thank goodness it was really good turnout. Hoping all seminars and showcases do as well........................ Always, Jamie
City, State: Ft. Lee, NJ Comments: The panel was absorbing; the people and their stories had the audience mesmerized for the entire evening. And Richard did a truly superb job as moderator. Many of the late night TV shows could take lessons from him and benefit immeasurably. What a night! Peter
City, State: Washington, DC Comments: Dear Richard, I saw your second show at the National on January 29...I'm so glad Earl Levit alerted me to your performance...you were just wonderful! I had had a really crappy day at work and you were the best tonic ever. The rest of the week was wonderful, not because things were going well at work - they weren't, just because I was still on a "high" from your show. Your production "Carol Channing in Concert" made me laugh, cry and truly appreciate the woman who obviously inspires you. I do not know much about her and will probably never get a chance to see her perform in person, but after your production, I feel as if I have. The visible love and respect you have for Carol, as well as your great voice and razor sharp wit, made the sun shine on an otherwise gray Monday in January in the nations capital. I look forward to seeing you at the end of May at Camp Ramblewood in Maryland. With great respect, Roy PS I would love to see the photos of the post performance "Birthday Celebration" here on your website! Did Carol get "our" voicemail? |
