City, State: Richmond, VA Comments: I saw the show at Gravity Lounge in Charlottesville VA last night & it was a great time. It was one of the best nights "at the theatre" I have had outside of NYC in a long, long time.
City, State: Berwyn Heights Comments: Richard, Dave and I were at your show at the National on Monday and it was most entertaining and incredible. Even better than 2 years ago. You get better and better and better with age--like a diamond! Hugs and best wishes, Hank Becker and Dave Williams
City, State: New York, NY 10022 Website: www.centralparknyc.org Comments: Richard et. al, That was such an extraordinary evening. So totally enchanting and delightful. Oh how I wish I could have met Dottie Burman although her presence was palpable.I shall never forget it. In my 23 years with Central Park, I can't remember a more wonderful way to have received a gift. We are all grateful for your donation and it will be put to good use, perhaps in our Scholar's Program which is one of our innovative programs for 7th to 9th graders.I think Dottie would have liked that.I would love to have the words to "When The Palm Trees Grow in Central Park." I am writing a (hopefully) humorous collection of stories about the Park as my next project and it might be fun to include it. On another note, my good friend Asha Weinstein, is the niece of Carol Channing's former husband Charles so that is quite a coincidence too.I must go to your act sometime when she is in from Caliifornia. All the Best, Sara and all my colleagues at Central Park Conservancy
City, State: Wayne, NJ Website: www.naomimiller.com Comments: Dear Richard, Thank you so much for planning such a heartfelt tribute to Dottie. I had goosebumps, tears and laughed at the incredible interpretations all of the performers gave to Dottie's lyrics and music. It was an awesome evening! Love Naomi
City, State: Hewlett, NY Website: http://www.TrudiMann.com Comments: Richard - you are a prince - we all know and have experienced your 'charms' and warmth over the years. Last night was just another one of those wonderful Skipper momentous events. I feel privileged to be a part of it and thank each and everyone of you for making it in to a verrrry special evening. I started off a bit 'ferklempt' - but overcame that state due to the love in the entire building. It was a true 'love in'. Thanks again. xxoo Trudi Mann |
