Hi Carol! Er...Richard. Thank you so much for taking the time earlier, to talk with me about a possible performance for my church, here in Atlanta. My friends and I had seen you perform twice in Florida; once at the Angel Cabaret Theatre, and then again at The Palladium, and we thought you were just awesome! Your performances were wonderful! Absolutely delightful, entertaining shows! I'd love to get you here to perform for us, and once I get back from a cruise next week, I'm going to contact our Philharmonic Orchestra here, about their doing a concert with you, to raise funds for the orchestra. And maybe I'll even persuade you to come onboard with us for our next fundraising cruise for the church! You would ROCK THE SHIP!
Thank you so much for bringing your wonderful performances to so many people. You have been Blessed with an amazing talent, and I look forward to talking with you again soon.

When I first saw Richard, I went with a "not my cup of tea" attitude but I soon had to drink, or eat, my words. And it's not JUST the professionalism, the complete immersion of Richard Skipper in this Carol Channing persona that he so clearly loves -- it goes beyond that. This is a passion, a dedication and a magical connection comparable to Yul Brynner's with the King of Siam or Mary Martin with Peter Pan. It's like trying to say tissue instead of Kleenex -- it's impossible now for me to think of Carol without also thinking of Richard. Everybody needs to see Richard "do his thing" at least once, just so they can understand what it is to create that magic. It's a whole new cup of tea!

Dear Carol:
I know you as Richard Skipper only in printed materials. I recall you as Miss Channing, as I had thought of her for forty years, having seen her on stage several times and in numerous films. She was present for the annual Arts Council gala through you!) to charm the guests with wit and wisdom. Most notably, the engagement of the audience in conversation affirmed sensitivity and interest that are not apparent in more "distant" performances. Rather than viewing a "performance," we were treated to having dinner with one of the more admirable representatives of American theater.
Thank you for a delightful evening!
Jack

Dear Richard,
Thanks for bringing "Carol Channing" to The Caring Community's October 23 Gala. People are still calling to tell me how much they enjoyed your performance. My diamond aside, you provided much sparkle to the evening.
You are a phenomenal talent, Richard. We were blessed to have you as part of our Gala. My thanks, again, both personally and on behalf of the seniors who will be the direct beneficiaries of your participation. We were thrilled by your performance.
Brava, Diva ~ Bravo, Divo as they say at the Met!
Gratefully,

Richard, we saw you this summer at Helen's Supper Club in NYC. You were absolutley fabulous. I don't remember ever being so mesmerized as I was by your performance. It was Carol Channing in person for almost two hours. Thank you for such a fantastic evening. Sincerely, Anita and Arthur Finkelstein
