City, State: New Orleans, La. Comments: I saw your show at Helen's on 06/09 and I thought you were absolutely wonderful. I imagine it must be very hard to keep in Carol's character for an hour and a half, but you achieved that so effortlessly. It was a terrific concert. I adore Carol and I felt as if she were there delivering all of her great numbers. Thanks so much for a grand time.

What makes it doubly exciting for me to go to a Richard Skipper show is that every time I think he's hit his peak he surprises me and jumps to yet a another and higher level. His latest show is as "big time" as a cabaret can get. This show has size. It's a major concert and looks and sounds as though it's meant for a major Vegas room or even Broadway. Not only has Richard deepened his ability to capture Carol Channings character, he's developed his voice to be one of the best in the business.
