What an amazing experience to be online with the magnificent Richard Skipper! So much love, so much enthusiasm, so much joie de vivre! Truly the most prepared, caring, and supportive interviewer on earth. He actually purchased my book. "Work at Sea, See the World" and read it cover to cover, making notes and recalling stories to discuss and finding unusual questions and topics of tremendous interest. Bless you, dear Richard, as you bless the world with your love.

Richard Skipper is truly one of the best interviewers on the planet.
He is always ultra prepared and makes my clients actually enjoy the experience! He makes them feel completely comfortable and they come away feeling as though he sincerely cared about them and their project. I always look forward to working with him and my clients are deeply appreciative to him for all the work he puts into his interviews. He is a true pro and a joy to work with!

Richard, it is hard to put into words what it meant to have you at our show, but here goes! I have my Lend An Ear playbill framed next to my Richard Skipper mug! I would love to get together and talk Dolly or ANY theater for that matter, truly ANYTIME! I would love to stay on your newsletter and will definitely be listening to the podcast. Thank you again, and I hope our paths cross again sometime soon!

“Isn’t the world full of WONDERFUL things?”

It was our absolute delight to have Richard Skipper in the audience for Up In One’s production of Hello, Dolly!. Being a life-long Dolly devotee, myself, having Richard come and talk with our audience, cast, and crew was the cherry on top of the entire experience! After reading his website, CallOnDolly.com for YEARS, it truly tickled me to finally meet him in person and chat about all things Dolly! Richard’s love of Hello, Dolly! is simply infectious. His knowledge and first-hand accounts of the show’s history were only MORE impressive in person. With his amazing, one of a kind slides and video clips, we spent an incredible afternoon talking over and analyzing almost every Dolly from Carol Channing to Carolee Carmelo! I could have talked with him all the live-long day! We cannot thank him enough for his incredible insight, humor, and generosity. It was an absolutely unforgettable afternoon! Bravo, Richard!
