City, State: Huntington Beach, CA Comments: Thank you for your show celebrating Nicole Henry...it was kind of serendipitous, considering that I had gone to Michael Feinstein's Pasadena Pops concert at the Los Angeles Arboretum in August to see our Beloved Diva, Melissa Manchester, sing a "Judy Garland & Friends" show. There were two other soloists and Nicole was one of them. It was great to learn more about her, as I had enjoyed her songs, but really knew nothing about her or her career. Well Done! You do a great job with making people feel comfortable and opening up to reveal what is important to them. Janna Koch, Huntington Beach, CA
City, State: New York, NY Website: Karenoberlin.com Comments: Richard, How could we envision cabaret without you? And why would we want to? You bring beauty, ingenuity, thoughtfulness, and above all else LOVE into everything you do, and every person with whom you come into contact. THANK YOU for all you do for all of us! Bravo!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
City, State: Pasadena, CA 91103 Comments: We have sent messages back & forth for awhile and I love your interviews with many, and for some reason I just now saw the one you did with Roslyn Kind. Was just great. I met her a few years back when some of us gathered for a meeting about the past, famous, 1st Gay Disco on the West Coast - Studio One, and I was the original bartender in the Backlot when we opened in 1974! There is a documentary coming out soon we hope, called "Studio One Forever" and I am in that doc quite a bit I think. Anyway, I loved your interview with Roslyn and I also sent her a note/message from me that I hope she gets (on Facebook) and answers when she can. I even sent her a video of me singing a song! LOL Her sister Barbara was a customer of mine and I also was "with" Barbara when she and Robert Redford were filming a scene from "The Way We Were" at some mansion here in Bel Aire. Best to you Richard! Gary
City, State: New York, NY Website: www.ronfassler.org Comments: Always a pleasure to see you, Richard, and to spend time with you in conversation online (it’s the next best thing to doing it at Joe Allen). Anybody unfamiliar with Richard’s show should get familiar. He’s a treasure. The theatre needs more like him and thank God we have him. Ron Fassler, www.ronfassler.org
City, State: Portland ME Comments: Thank you so very much to Richard Skipper and his amazing guests for this beautiful tribute to Dame Angela Lansbury. The show went by so fast and there were so many great stories and memories. I was luck to see Miss Lansbury 4 times over the years, by favorite was Sweeney Todd! |
