Richard, your interview with one of my favorite people in show business, Jeff Harnar, was A.) terrific, and B.) about five hours too short! To illustrate but one personal example of Jeff's enormous talent... I'm SO grateful to have had him sing, record, and perform my songs! I compartmentalize "sing" and "perform" in this context because some my comedy tunes require not only his beautiful singing voice, but an actor who invests himself totally in the characters he creates in order to inhabit them. From Dr. Ruth-meets-Sigmund Freud to a proper English gentleman primly and properly delivering non-stop double-entendres, Jeff delivers with razor-sharp timing and spot-on authenticity. What you did so masterfully was to draw out a sliver of Jeff's subtext, which only serves to expand our appreciation for not only his talent, but his humanity. I'm positive that there is much more treasure to mine from this wonderfully complex artist. Still waters run deep, but in Jeff's case, rolling waters run deeper. Larry Kerchner

Richard Skipper - Thank you for the gift of your empathic spotlight for the hour on today’s show. You not only create a platform to celebrate your guests, you create a safe space for sharing more than the expected showbiz anecdotes. And all of it is wrapped in your disarming warmth and humor. You are the definition of service over self. Which leads me right back to the top: thank you for the gift of your time and talent today. I’m truly grateful and hugely uplifted by the experience of being one of your lucky guests. Long may you wave - Jeff Harnar, NYC

Today's "Richard Skipper Celebrates" interview and conversation with perennially youthful and ultimately timeless Jeff Harnar starts with a fitting touch of sartorially symbiotic sunshine: both life forces seemingly and seamlessly got the same proverbial memo and are resplendent in soothing sunniness, as they both brighten this life with their phenomenal talents, intelligence, experiences, and personalities. Jeff's path-in-progress is graced with endearing honesty, commendably candid self-assessment, humility, articulate authenticity, incandescent credits, serendipitous collaborations, ineffable charm, and enchanting clarity. His story-to-date evokes a vicarious celebration also of a pantheon and compendium of vibrant friends, loved ones, colleagues, mentors, and extended family; he and Richard invoke that tribe's individual essences with lovingly concise soundbytes. I used to listen to Jeff caress and finesse the nuances of Sammy Cahn lyrics while I wore headphones🎧 or earbuds as I commuted each morning to day-and-night gigging. I luxuriated in his shimmeringly flexible timbres, inflections, phrasing, and charismatic romanticism that filled my noggin with an irresistible aural massage. What a coddled way to start a full music "work"day and night🌃🏙️... like being swathed with a cashmere throw in the back of a chauffeured Bentley. What I would give to have time-traveled with Jeff and his Family in a new 1964 FoMoCo convertible in the Disneyed animatronic dioramas -- dinosaurs and all -- at Robert Moses's 1964-65 New York World's Fair in Flushing Meadow. Today's heartwarming, illuminating celebration affirms all that is right in this world because Jeff and Richard are holding forth in it. This brilliant interview is a memorable armchair journey that is far from over. I am so grateful to have tuned into this fascinating, intimate celebration. 💜Alan K. Choy, San Francisco, California
