Richard Skipper is more than an interviewer, he is a treasure.  His positive energy is contagious and it permeates everything he does.  Like the names says, Richard "celebrates" his guests.  In an era where we have lost the art of conversation and where wise-cracks and snarkiness pass for "in-depth" interviewing, Richard is a breath of fresh air, reminding us just how important art is to our lives and how artists need to be celebrated and supported.  I can't wait to be back on his show again!

As an advocate of the York Theatre for more years than I can recall, it was delightful to get know the York’s admired producing artistic director, Jim Morgan, during one of Richard Skipper’s interview podcasts.  As a frequent York Theater attendee, I recall Mr. Morgan’s hospitable audience welcome prior to performances. His cordiality is always akin to the gracious vibe guests must feel when visiting Mr. Morgan’s home.

Richard Skipper, the King of Hospitality, among his many talents, asked all the right questions to help listeners/viewers know Mr. Morgan better. They made a wonderful team.

Thank you, Richard and Jim, for giving us a peek into the one of the key strengths and guiding forces behind the renowned York Theater. It was, indeed, time well-spent.

A thought: given Richard’s talents far exceed interviewing, wouldn’t it be wonderful to see Richard share his musical gifts on that York stage?
