Richard Skipper's Celebration of Hello, Dolly! is pure joy! My 94+ year old parents enjoyed it, as well. So much research and knowledge about “Hello Dolly” jammed into a rollicking revue. Wonderful.

I feel so lucky that I got to see Richard Skipper's tribute show to "Hello Dolly" in Hackensack, NJ. What a show! Richard is a great storyteller and I was on the edge of my seat hearing how the show came to be.

 

The songs are wonderfully performed with great video clips. But the most moving is the story of how he came to meet Carol Channing and have a deep friendship with her. Singing, "It Only Takes a Moment" against lovely photos of them together, I was brought to tears.

 

What a history and what a wonderful show that can inspire us all. It should go much further.
