City, State: Maplewood, NJ Website: dwlmedia.com Comments: I attended Richard Skipper's show at The Green Room/42 in the Yotel Hotel in NYC. It was just wonderful. Richard proved himself to be a master showman and story teller. He illustrated his trip as a young man from his hometown of Conway, SC to New York City with stories and songs. I have known Richard for many years. However, after attending the show I had insights into him that gave me a much deeper understanding of his journey. Being a similar age, I understood many of his references and stories about the musical environment in the sixties. I do think that the younger audience would learn so much about those times and the tremendously broad array of styles, and singers from vaudeville, to Broadway to Rock and Roll. His show is very entertaining, but it is also an education and perhaps a trip down memory lane. Bravo Richard! Doug Davidian, Maplewood, NJ
City, State: Piermont, NY Website: @bunburyscoffee Comments: What a delightful evening with the poised, well spoken and genuine Richard Skipper at Bunbury's in Piermont for the first Positive Full Mooning Book Club. It was a pleasure to be in the presence of Richard as he shared - with eloquence - the power of believing; the power to shift your perspective and the power to be who you are holding steadfast to your dreams and aspirations. The first Positive Full Mooning event will flourish. Namaste Richard. Debbie Pirsos,@bunburyscoffee, Piermont, NY
