City, State: New York, NY Website: dancersover40.org Comments: Had a wonderful time at Richard Skipper's show The magic was not just on stage, but in the audience as well. Richard has devoted fans who are with him 150% throughout his journey on stage. The show was tightly staged, original and true to Richard as the superb performer he is. I suggest everyone take the journey with Richard, through the highs and lows, the Upson Downs (as they say in Mame) of his 40 years in NYC. Came into the show with a smile on my face and left with an even bigger smile.... John Sefakis, DancersOver40 NYC

Richard Skipper took us on his journey from his home town to his dream town NYC and it was moving, funny, sad, bold and brave! It was a universal story and so compelling. Richard singing and acting is amazing. Can't wait to go again! Best ticket in town! Lisa Martinez, Haverstraw, NY

City, State: San Jose, CA Comments: "An Evening with Richard Skipper - from Conway to Broadway" is a funny, inspirational, musical, phenomenal show! When I go to the movies or the theatre, I want to ROOT for somebody. I want to embrace that character who has a dream and a vision - and cheer them on to success! I've been blessed to do that for Richard (Ricky to me) for the past 42 years. And while watching this show, I was able to do it some more!
City, State: Ievington, NT Website: caroledemas.com Comments: Richard Skipper was riveting at St. Luke's on Monday (August 5, 2019). His story is fascinating and his telling of it as smooth and dear and personal as they come- full of your moments of joy and fear and full of other characters who came to life in flickers over and over again. he knew it way back- YES- HE IS an ACTOR- and one with charm and skill and an extraordinary ability to bounce back and keep smiling. He has worked hard to get where he is, but some of what he brings to his audience cannot be taught. One has to be born with it, and baby, he was! Thank you, Richard Skipper, for your sweet singing, your funny, moving, meticulously honed performance that felt spontaneous and from the heart, every minute. Thank you for sharing your triumphs, your fears, your brave focus. You have given so many of us a chance to shine. This was your turn, and you did! I haven't stopped thinking about it. I wanted to hug that little boy and tell him not to give up- but of course you were bent on loving what you love, no matter what! You gave us your heart- and we love you.
