Thank you Richard for your interview celebrating Marge Champion on October 5, 2014 at the Spiral Theater.  Marge is still elegantly beautiful, with so many wonderful stories of Hollywood and Broadway.  I'm looking forward to your future events.

I was lucky enough to be invited to Barnes and Noble to see Richard Skipper sit down with Lesley Ann Warren. Lesley was in NYC to promote the original "Cinderella" being remastered.

The evening was brilliant.  Richard makes you feel as if you are a fly on the
wall in his living room during his interviews.  He is funny, engaging and his guests open up about their incredible talents.  I can't wait to see more of Richard in the future.

Richard Skipper is fast becoming the quintessential interviewer of our time.  The lost art of in depth research was clearly found in the interesting questions asked of the ageless Lesley Ann Warren at the Cinderella fiftieth anniversary DVD release by Shout Records.  Richard is able to extract entre nous tidbits of information from his subject , making the  audience feel as if they are sitting with old friends in the comfort of their own home.  Lesley Ann Warren treated the standing room only crowd to three renditions of the songs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein show proving her star still shines brightly !

What a wonderful event with Lesley Ann Warren Warren.  All those present appropriately recognize your unique skill and talent not just as an incredible performer but also as an interviewer who brings out the very best in his subject. Kudos to you, Richard. Unique and wonderful as always.

I was lucky to attend Richard's interview at Barnes & Noble of Leslie Ann Warren for the remastered issue of Cinderella from the CBS teleproduction of 1965.  I like to call Richard the "Sol Hurok" of his age, or at least I think he will be.  He is a top notch interviewer and brings out the best in his interviewees.  Lesley Ann Warren was delightful and I learned so much.  Richard asks such great questions and brought out the warmth and vulnerability of Lesley. Go buy the reissued DVD.  It is absolutely fabulous and looks as if it were done yesterday.  Lesley Ann Warren is a treasure.  So is Richard Skipper!
