I was thrilled and honored to be part of it from the panel presentation at the New York Sheet Music Society on Saturday to the brunch at Sardi's on Sunday with the cast members from 1964 to 1994 and points in between. So grateful you "put your hand in" to "call on Dolly" with "elegance", "polish and flair". You gave every one of us new Dolly memories to cherish. City, State: Philadelphia, Pa. Comments: I attended the Richard Skipper Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Hello Dolly on 1/18/14, and it was excellent! There were a lot of cast members who were there to share their experiences with a very limited amount of time. As usual, Richard made sure everyone got to share, kept it moving along, and no one felt rushed or slighted. I then attended Herman on Herman later that evening. Peggy Herman and her guests were beyond amazing! Richard was involved with the show as well. I must say that every event Richard Skipper is involved with or hosted that I've attended has been excellent. It's so obvious that he loves his work, because he really puts his heart and soul into it. |
