City, State: New Milford, NJ Comments: What a wonderful time I had sitting front and center for "Richard Skipper Celebrates Julie Budd" at The Laurie Beechman Theater on November 20th, 2013. It was as though there was a magic thread connecting the two of them as Richard drew the audience into what felt like a warm reminiscence between two old friends... and of course Julie sang spectacularly as always! -Mark Fabian, NYC
City, State: Philadelphia, Pa Comments: I want to say what an outstanding event Richard Skipper Celebrates Julie Budd was on 10/20/13 at the Laurie Beechman Theater. Richard was the consummate interviewer, making Julie feel comfortable, asked great questions, and at the same time made those of us in the audience a part of the interview process Of course Julie was outstanding as well. I was made to feel very welcome by both.

Richard is a a host who actually, really listens to his guests and lets them talk! We still get plenty of his wonderful wit, but never at the expense of the person he's interviewing. And as for Julie - well! She's just so charming and sounds as great as ever. AND AT ONE IN THE AFTERNOON!! WHO CAN DO THAT??!! There used to be something called Show Business; I'll admit it: I misfit. Today I had a lovely slice of it and savored every morsel. -Mark Nadler, NYC
