City, State: Kew Gardens, NY 11415 Website: christine@christinetalbottsutin.com Comments: Wednesday night, I went to the Metropolitan Room and had a truly delightful experience watching Richard Skipper interview actress/voice-over artist Jackie Joseph-Lawrence. The highly enthusiastic audience learned about this woman's amazing life and career, as well as some fascinating trivia bits (my favorite was that the Roger Corman film "The Little Shop of Horrors", in which Ms. Joseph-Lawrence played Audrey, was filmed in TWO DAYS!!!!!). Since she mentioned during the interview that her dream role was Carrie Pipperidge in "Carousel" and that she just LOVED the song "Mister Snow", she wound up singing it (upon request) with me accompanying her! That was a pleasant surprise! Ms. Joseph-Lawrence's charming personality , coupled with Richard's charisma and boundless positive energy, made for a very memorable evening! Christine Talbott-Sutin C

City, State: Bayside, NY Website: www.visitQPAC.org Comments: We can't begin to thank the enchanting Richard Skipper for his enlightening and inspiring Spotlight interview of legendary performer, director, choreographer Tommy Tune. I could see from the very beginning of the interview how comfortable Tommy Tune was speaking with Richard, and Richard's questions were nothing short of brilliant. If you are looking for a charismatic host, interviewer for your program, Richard is your man! Bravo! Susan Agin, Queensboro Community College,www.visitQPAC.org |
