City, State: Brooklyn, NY Website: www.litt-and-alpher.com Comments: Richard Skipper is one of the most tireless and generous people I have ever met in New York's entertainment community. He was the first to welcome us to the stage at his wonderful variety show at The Iguana, when we were brand-new in town, and he has been a supportive friend and role model ever since. David and I are honored to have been the subject of Richard's blog, and loved the opportunity to share some of our thoughts with Richard's readers. Not only that, we are tremendous fans of Richard the entertainer! Many, many thanks, Richard, for your friendship, your example, and your artistry--Jennie Litt and David Alpher
City, State: NYC Website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peggy_Pope Comments: Richard Skipper is a fabulous interviewer. I felt empowered from my first meeting with him, and the interview was great because of him. He's generous and caring, warm and sensitive, asks great questions because of his thoughtful research and keeps things moving. He's funny and spontaneous and smart. Get him to tell you his story sometime! You'll be amazed. Thank you, Richard, I was lucky to find you. Comments: I had the good fortune of attending Richard's interview with author/actress Peggy Pope Friday, May 11th at Barnes & Noble on the Upper East Side in NYC. It was a celebration of the release of her memoir "atta girl". I recalled her performance in the film Nine to Five as the recovered lush/office worker. It was a most enjoyably interview and evening and Richard, as always was delightful. Chuck Mosseau,Edison, NJ

Richard was terrific and "performed" perfectly -- Richard has found the perfect niche for himself and interviewed beautifully! I look forward to further encounters and events... Until then... You asked such interesting questions, that actually brought back some really fond memories for me as I answered them. You always bring out the best in people not only in person, but in your writing as well. Thank you so much! Merete Muenter http://richardskipper.blogspot.com/2012/05/merete-muenter.html |
