City, State: Boynton Beach, FL Comments: Richard, you were Mr. Sparkling Personality at BOTH of your appearances on Monday March 18th in South Florida !!!!! Being the surprise guest speaker at Costume World, you totally had the crowd under your spell, with your witty repartee, and your amazing total recall of all Broadway questions you were asked....The only disappointment for everyone there, was that they couldn't yet buy your book!! Seriously, they were primed to make that purchase right then!!! And the evening event, at our Broadway Club was marvelous... I got such wonderful comments from members and guests about the fascinating Carol Channing Documentary that you presented, and spoke about afterward.......the audience did not want to leave!! Thank you so much for showing everybody the real Richard Skipper, the creative, talented, performer, and raconteur extraordinaire. Here was another opportunity for selling your book to your mesmerized audience....Just can't wait 'til we can buy it!! So love you, Mr. Wonderful...!!!!
City, State: Matthews, North Carolina Comments: Love visiting your website and seeing what you are doing and where you are performing. Saw you at The Prime Timer Labor Day Celebration in Oklahoma City a couple of years ago. In fact you got me up on stage with you during your show...did an little dance step. You are such a wonderful performer and look forward to seeing you perform again in the future.
Comments: You're my favorite entertainer other than Rodney Dangerfield who I liked also. I am an entertainer in my own right and if you want to make a duo and take the world by storm let me know. I can sing, dance, and play tamborine. Anyone can play tamborine? Not like me they can't. D Erasmus.
City, State: Philadelphia, PA Website: http://richardskipper.blogspot.com/2013/02/frank-anzalone-director-of-hello Comments: Richard Skipper is a one-of-a-kind theatre impresario. His knowledge of the 50-year history of Hello Dolly is – to say the least – staggering. He is passionate and charming. He was able to transform everything I recounted in our hour-long phone interview into a wonderful and nostalgic journey for me and the actors that I worked with in 2004.The blog was flattering and thrilling and made me proud. I truly look forward to his book publication when Dolly turns 50 in 2014. Richard was a stranger to me and now, I am pleased to say, he is a friend and colleague! Bravo Richard for all your remarkable work! Frank Anzalone
