Then one of us would have to go and promised to continue at another time. Well FINALLY we did it and it was delicious to go down memory lane with you. Packed away in boxes in my basement I found wonderful photos and pictures that my mother Frances had accumulated Through out the Dolly years. Thank you a millions times over for your extremely well done Blog on me. I am thrilled. May your book be a huge success and I hope I've made a new friend. Andrea

City, State: New York Comments: Richard, your appreciation for the women who played Dolly Levi has brought back wonderful memories. Dolly Levi had an indomitable spirit and so did the women who portrayed her. Perhaps that is the reason audiences have loved them so much. Thanks for making it possible for us to remember Dolly in all her glory coming down the stairway to our cheers. |
