Richard Skipper's Celebration of 60 years of Hello Dolly - Bravo!!! Being witness to him in action from the audience, his love of all things Dolly & Carol and the theatre arts in general is infectious! Listening to him share his story I couldn't help but feel inspired by his heart sharing. And to watch him generously give the stage to Lee Roy Reams, speaks volumes to his skill as an artist and interviewer and most importantly human!!! Bravo Richard. Bravo!!! Richard Skipper is a true and gracious host. He invited us into the the Laurie Beechman with such joy. And why? We were there in a packed house to learn from him and hear him sing the music of Hello Dolly, with music made famous by his dear friend and beloved Carol Channing. What a joy--Storytelling, song, video interviews of Dolly stars and cast members. I think Horace ends Dolly with the line "A wonderful woman." About Richard's show, I say, "A wonderful show!"
Thanks, Richard

I attended Richard Skipper’s “Still Going Strong: Celebrating 60 Years of Hello Dolly”. The show is entertaining and filled with a wealth of history that all devout theatergoers will enjoy. I hope this show travels around the country, so people all around will be able to enjoy what many others have been lucky enough to experience.

If you have even the slightest appreciation for classic Broadway musicals, then "Before the Parade Passes By" (and may it never), you must see Richard Skipper's marvelous show celebrating 60 years of HELLO, DOLLY! Richard is a theatre historian, host, interviewer, actor, and entertainer extraordinaire all rolled into one as this enchanting hour and fifteen minutes or so amply demonstrates. However much you think you know about DOLLY, you will leave his show knowing infinitely more -- for it is chock full of information, anecdotes and trivia (or, as the late Joe Franklin would call it, "significa") that make one fall in love with this great musical all over again and realize its quality and genius even more. Bravo, Richard, for helping ensure that "Dolly'll never go away again!"
