I had the chance to catch Richard Skipper's "Carol Channing" show before he left St. Luke's in New York City. It was a wonderful and joyous evening and his work was not only impressive but inspirational. That evening was joyous and frolicsome and his work as an artist, and the talent he has, shone trough. I tell people about it still and I wanted to thank Richard and hope I have the opportunity to see it again very soon.

Regarding your blog at http://richardskipper.blogspot.com/2011/06/happy-pride-2011.html:
Extraordinary! I love all of the show business people who you mention and know. I also love the rainbow over the Emerald City and your celebration of gay marriage in N.Y. You also enlighten young gays about the Stonewall riots. I learned a lot about this from older gays as I was a child in the 70s and 80s and a teen for most of the 90s. Nice job!

Last night I had the wonderful opportunity of seeing Richard Skipper perform not one, but two contrasting roles in an industry showcase performance presented by Paula J. Riley. Having seen Richard perform three times now, in three VERY different roles, I am highly impressed by his range. The first time I saw him was in his Off-Broadway show: "Richard Skipper as Carol Channing" this past December. He completely commanded my attention the moment he walked onto the stage. I thought I was indeed watching Ms. Channing herself. Then last night in the original one act play "Wake" written by Mark Amenta, I had the chance to see his dramatic side. His performance was flawless. He then performed in Jules Feiffer’s 60’s satire "Little Murders" demonstrating his comedic ability. This man’s ambit has no boarders. He is truly one of the most talented individuals on the face of this planet. Richard Skipper is a gifted actor and a true STAR!
