I am still getting comments how people thought I had brought in Carol Channing to sing for us. It took people a while to figure out that he WASN'T Carol Channing, herself. Why is that? I'll tell you why. He IS her. The love and respect that he has for Carol permeates every second of his performance. No comment, no parody....total Carol Live!!!! How many Legends can boast they have someone who keeps their legacy and the magic they created on stage alive with such love? Carol Channing can! Thank you, Richard. City, State: Hollywood,, CA Comments: I had the pleasure of spending Carol Channing's birthday at Richard Skipper's show in New York and had an amazing time with my friends. It was like spending a night hanging out and talking to Ms. Channing. It was a total tribute that left me wanting more. What really impressed me, as well as his singing and presentation, was the way Mr. Skipper NAILED the monologue from Hello Dolly. I found myself totally lost in the moment, and enjoying the hell out of it. Its a wonderful evening and I urge you to run to the theatre and catch his show.
