I like all of the little changes/adjustments. Your recording/message in the beginning of the show was great and cute. Better than the video actually. The stage looked better (even if one of the pictures fell....it couldn't have happened at a better time of the show). But YOU have a gift of knowing your audience and a focus that I don't think you can even teach. This was smooth, meaningful and fun. I wish you success. I think it will last a long time, you've done it!! And you've shown that there can be respect, polish, and talent in a show without the loud music, wild lighting and flying actors. Richard is a consummate entertainer, a gifted and nuanced actor and singer and one of the most adept performers I've ever seen anywhere when it comes to improvisation. This show is a must-see for anyone who loves the theatre, loves Broadway, and loves being wonderfully entertained. Thank you, Richard, for yet another delightful evening in the theatre! I liked Richard immediately, so as an Actor-Singer myself in between jobs (and aren't we all!) with a little extra time on his hands, I decided to offer him my help in any small way that I could; end of "BACK STORY". I began by assisting with some of the publicity duties. My other duty-and this is where the really fun part comes in-was to serve as an Usher for as many performances as I could. BTW, I was performing these duties on a volunteer basis; I could've left any time I wanted to. NO WAY! By now, I have seen Richard as 'Carol Channing' several times, and each and every time he is absolutely brilliant. He is truly THE consummate performance artist, his Carol Channing is spot-on, and most importantly his audience(s) absolutely LOVE the Show. I'm a little biased here, which means that I don't HAVE TO write this. I just WANT TO write this, to tell everyone how much you'll enjoy "Richard Skipper As 'Carol Channing' In Concert". One more BTW.....this is a G-Rated Show that you can bring the whole family to see. In fact, I'll even be bringing my five-year-old Grandson to see it!
