City, State: New York, NY Comments: Richard Skipper was dazzling, magnificent, and pure perfection at Monday night's (10/11/10) Dancers Over 40 event celebrating the works of Agnes De Mille. Richard's work should be seen by everyone! What a treat. Everyone should have a taste! Lori Tan Chinn, New York, NY
City, State: Honolulu, Hi Comments: I co-run an event in Malibu,California every year. Richard has performed as Carol Channing several times over the years and is incredible. Not only does he appear to really be "Carol", but he also belts out songs she's known for with excellence and has an interplay with the audience that is always impromptu but excellent. Richard is a true professional in every way!! Chuck Kenyon, Honolulu, Hawaii
City, State: Philadelphia, PA Website: earllevit.com Comments: Dear Richard. What a night at the IGUANA. I truly enjoyed singing for you and your fabulous audience. The talent that appears at WEDNESDAY NIGHT at the IGUANA is extraordinary. You and Dana are electric with your wit, and spontaneity. Can't wait to return again. More than likely I"ll be there on November 3rd. I hope to be bringing a friend of mine from San Francisco to experience the fabulous Wed. nights at the Iguana. Earl Levit, Philadelphia, PA
City, State: Congers, NY Website: www.ISeeTheWorld-ChildrensBook.com Comments: You and Dana were terrific as hosts/emcees at The Iguana. You were both BORN to do this! Loved hearing you sing during the evening, too--it had been too long for me since I'd heard your vocals... Your introductions certainly must have made all the performers feel good about themselves, and, in turn, made us as audience enjoy their efforts as well. LOVED Lois Morton the night I was there. She and her material were a standout! Keep up the great work, you crazy kids! Love, Jean Barlow, www.ISeeTheWorld-ChildrensBook.com
City, State: Kingston, NY Website: http://nancytierney.com Comments: What a fun and fabulous night of great entertainment at the Iguana! Richard, you and Dana are the King and Queen (you decided who is which) of herding a huge group of crazy singers into a wonderful show. I loved the eclectic mix or performers, the friendly vibe, and the fact I could actually hear myself when singing on stage! Oy! What a relief. There was never a dull moment, never a lull in the energy, and that's hard to accomplish in this kind of show. Now I understand why Wednesday Night at the Iguana is an award-winning production. Thank you for including me, and I will definitely be taking that 2-hour train ride from Kingston to the city to be at the Iguana again. Nancy Tierney, http://nancytierney.com |
