City, State: Flushing, New York Comments: Richard, It's about time you took that great cabaret show of yours and turned it into a terrific theatrical experience. You were it top form last night, and I'm encouraging everyone I know to get themselves over to the Wings Theater as soon as possible for a fun, memorable performance.

I know that it was only the first preview - but is seems as if you have been doing Carol Channing for years. mmmmm Oh, you have? Anyway, the space works for the show - I liked being in a theater setting without the tables, drinks, waiters and noise. The band was great, the "boys" added to the show and you are just so delicious and charming on stage. Now, we have to spread the word and make your shows SRO!
City, State: Stony Point, NY Comments: After years of wanting to see Richard's show, I was finally able to go last night. I went with my mother, and we both absolutely LOVED it! At one point during the show, my mother leaned over to me and said "That's Carol". He is so convincing as Carol, you forget that it's not actually Carol. He doesn't "become" Carol, he IS Carol. And his improv with the audience was SO hilarious...what a great, GREAT show! Also, his back up dancers/singers were just adorable. I would love to see this show again (mom too!). Thank you for a great night.

Richard Skipper is one of the true stars of Musical Theater, whether he is impersonating Carol Channing in the most authentic and respectful way or performing as himself. This show is a real must-see and is an Equity Showcase, so Equity members don't pay. But even if you have to pay, Richard is worth every penny and more. We were totally blown away by this super-star. He does Carol Channing, better than Carol Channing! Enjoy, Chris Kelley Karel and Chuck Karel
