Dear Richard, or at this moment I am inclined to address you as Carol....You were not only generous to me the night of your new show... but not just as an impressionist, extraordinaire which you are, a great showman, performer, singer actor which you are, but you transformed yourself into the woman herself!!!! You ARE Carol Channing...I should know as Minnie Faye in the original cast of "Hello Dolly" on Broadway ...I sat THIS FAR from you and I was transported to another time... How lucky Carol must be to have you there to remind us how wonderful you are and she has been, you can carry on for her forever...Thank you for giving me back a wonderful time for us all in the theater......Sondra Lee

Richard, with "Carol Channing in Concert", you've reached a new level and made it obvious that you can shine on the big stage. The new show is bigger, more polished and better, yet you balanced the bigger production with your improvisational wit, that kept the intimate nature of your show, even in the "cheap seats".
After the show, in the ladies room, someone remarked with great surprise how late it was, I realized that the show was much longer than the regular cabaret show. Nobody noticed the time, because we were all captivated by the show! Now, That's entertainment! Brava, Carol!

What can I say about Richard(Carol)? WHAT A SHOW!! I've seen his shows several times and it never ceases to amaze me of how wonderfully talented this man is. I am always thoroughly entertained. His uncanny portrayal of the incomparable Carol Channing is remarkable. The show is always fresh and inventive; it never seems repetitive as it changes with every audience. Keep up the wonderful work. BRAVO!! I am a fan for life.
Lot's of Love,
Danny

National Treasure: Carol Channing or Richard Skipper? I vote both. I saw the last installment on July 5 and let me tell you the only reason I know that the morphing process isn't totally complete is that (thankfully!) I saw you walk out of that club after the show as Richard Skipper. Richard doesn't need me to tell him what I think, but I'll say it anyway, "I'd heard as much, but had to see it for myself and just when I thought I'd seen him do it all, he turns around and outdoes himself. The passion, love, professionalism and care with which he treats not only his subject but also his audience remains unsurpassed. Carol will be very, very proud indeed." Somebody should hurry and move this show to off-Broadway.

Hey Richard,
I saw your show June 30th and I had to write to you ... it was incredible! I came to support my good friend Paul Stephan and I had met you up at Paul's Riverside Church concert. So I was looking forward to it.
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you after the show. You were busy with the (of course adoring) fans.
I have never been one to see "star" impersonators before ... but boy, have you changed my mind!
Not only do you perform her as a living, breathing PERSON ... but you SING incredibly! Not to mention the obvious love and affection you show for Miss Channing herself.
A wonderful and touching evening.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Brava!
