I was able to see Richard's NEW cabaret show 3/18/23 in DC! It was phenomenal! Such a showman with personal appeal and fabulous flair, an evening with an all around entertainer sharing music and memories of a glittering career....if you have the opportunity see him! also LOVE the youtube channel!

Richard Skipper opened the Inaugural National Capital Cabaret Festival at Crazy Aunt Helen's in Washington DC with a brand new show. All I can say is, "Wow!"

His energy was infectious all through the show and the audience was in the palm of his hand from the very beginning. With humorous anecdotes about his career (especially how he arrived in NYC for the first time) coupled with his vocal prowess, Richard caused time to stop - before we knew it, the show was over...but we all left feeling a little better than when we came in.

We're looking forward to bringing him back down here for another show!
