Richard Skipper's show at Roost in Sparkill, NY was nothing short of sensational. His weaving of stories about his life and questions from his packed crowd with songs was brilliant. Such showbiz luminaries as Russ Wooley, KT Sullivan, Ann Kittredge and Nicolas and Desi Dromard were present to cheer him on. His musical director, Michael McAssey was brilliant. I am so eager to see Richard on stage again...that's where he belongs.

This is the second of Richard's shows I've had the delight to be part of. Yes, part of, thanks to his gift of being able to draw his audience into the wonderful world of his energy and enthusiasm in storytelling through music, laughter, tears of joy, and spontaneity. Yes, his vocal and theatrical genius are great but what I appreciate most about Richard and his talent is the felt spirit of love he has for the art, artists and audience that are invited into his celebrations.
