Richard Skipper's performance at Roost on March 5th was an absolute delight. He moves from songs of heartfelt sweetness and nostalgia to colossal bursts of vocal Broadway style energy, ribald humor and captivating, often spontaneous storytelling. The audience laughed and sighed through memories of his hopes and and fearless show biz history. We all need this show right now! Have yourself a good time enjoying Richard and his chemistry with marvelous pianist, Michael McAssey, no slouch in the vocal department, either. Get out and go! You'll be glad you did.
