This past Thursday I had the pleasure of being a guest panelist on an episode of Richard Skipper Celebrates where we discussed social media and its role in fostering social dysfunction. Your questioning was masterful and your willingness to grant (nearly) free rein to your guests was highly effective. Then, this past Saturday evening, I had the pleasure of attending a fund raiser at Christ Episcopal Church in Sparkhill, NY––conceptualized, produced, directed, MC-ed and performed in by (who else?) Richard Skipper! And it was a stunning success by any measure. I wonder if people understand what it takes to bring together a disparate group of top-tier theatrical pros to perform at a not-for-profit event benefitting an institution most have little or no connection with––not to mention pulling in a full house as well. In a word, it takes a natural impresario. As we evolve into a nearly-post-COVID world, I can only hope you'll keep utilizing your prodigious producing skills to bring people back together at any number of future Richard Skipper Productions.
