He brings his years of theater experience and knowledge to his exchanges - exchanges imbued with empathy for his guests. It is hard to imagine anyone more suited to elevate the arts and artists than Richard Skipper. As a guest on his show, I was floored by his research, kindness and humor throughout. It is a thrill and quite a contribution that he has amassed this archive of interviews with artists that can be referenced as a resource throughout the ages. Thank you, Richard! So well researched and each question built beautifully onto the next. We got to journey through some very special places in my life and hopefully touch some people along the way. Thank you for the opportunity to share myself, my family and my music with your audiences. I am already looking forward to the next time. Much love to you, Kiki Ebsen,Agoura, CA
City, State: SF, CA Comments: Richard certainly knows how to optimize an hour that ultimately transcends the human construct of linear time -- therefore facilitating, guiding, and hosting a timeless experience. He graces each interview with an innate sense of empathetic intimacy, informed interest, deep listening, inspired observations, and irresistibly insightful conversation. The trajectory and arc from "How are you doing?" to asking for concluding thoughts makes us crave to hear more. Meanwhile the unique substance therein defies an Earth hour's timespan and transports us to hopefully a higher realm of appreciation, understanding, knowledge, and inspiration.👏 Alan K Choy, SF CA
City, State: Weston, CT Comments: One can immediately feel the heart and soul of Richard Skipper when he does his interviews. His questions probe gently when seeking to know about the person he is interviewing. He brings out the best in that person and that is no easy trick- no, it is a talent, a gift. One learns from his interviews more than they perhaps ever expected. Once you see or hear his interviews you know there will be wisdom, insight, caring and likely just pure joy wrapped in some good laughs. I've been around the industry a lot of years from my days at the legendary Hollywood General service Studios and mingled and befriended so many artists and it is still a joy to hear about so many of them. He has a huge range of names and it is always exciting to hear of new or long time talents. Love fills his interviews and I know I hope for much more on his bright horizon as interviewer, performer , actor and on! Keep soaring, my friend. You're amazing!
