City, State: Encino California Website: www.redmillbook.com Comments: My career has spanned from the first day of the MERV GRIFFIN SHOW to his last after twenty five years of broadcasting. So, I think I know a thing or two about interviews. Richard Skipper is in the league of the best of the best. Unlike today's many talk shows,, Richard has the the instinctive ability to make his guests the star. It's the true sign of confidence. I so appreciated Richard's research, his deep thinking questions about my life and career. His love and joy of the entertainment industry is infectious. Thanks so much for your support, and but even more...your Murray Schwartz, CEO Merv Griffin Enterprises.
City, State: Valencia, CA Website: michaelmcgreevey.com Comments: Thanks you so much for the great interview, Richard. It was unlike most of the programs I've done over my 66 years in the business because I actually got to talk about many of my feelings and emotions connected to my work and my fellow artists. You are special because you actually listen to your guest and your follow-up questions are often more insightful than the original query. You CARE! I've become a fan and look forward to enjoying your future programs. Keep up the good work. Michael McGreevey, Valencia, CA

As expected, you asked compelling and interesting questions, most of which I was even able to answer! Your friendship means the world to me, and I admire you so as a professional. City, State: Irvington, New York Website: https://www.caroledemas.com/ Comments: Dear Richard, Watched your interview with Carter Calvert today. It’s just fabulous. Thank you so much for supporting Carter and our concert series. You and Carter certainly made us feel lucky. I’ve done a lot of interviews over the past 61 years, Richard...in newspapers, on TV, on stage, online. I can’t even begin to count how many. I gotta say you absolutely shine at this. Possibly the best interviewer I've seen. Ordinarily, a talented performer, as you are, is compelled to focus on his/her own work. Being one, you still manage to have so much empathy for performers, putting us in the spotlight, making us feel at ease, finding just the right questions to ask- and often, these are not the usual questions. Still, you also make those kind of obligatory questions more interesting and easier to answer than is usually the case. The exchange between you and the person you’re talking to is lively and fun and caring- and very informative- mostly because you are such a special guy. Your passion for your subject is always there- and so is your love for performers and for your fellow man in general. Someday, I would like to turn the spotlight around and interview YOU! It would be fun to turn things around on your own platform. Much appreciated. Carole Demas
City, State: New York, NY Website: deborah-stone.com Comments: Dear Richard - once again your talents as an interviewer shone through with Murray Schwartz, talking of his live and his book, The Red Mill - I'ts Not How You Start But How You Finish - which I have ordered and so look forward to reading.
