Richard Skipper is a luminous and illuminating host.  His interview style is refreshing, because it is apparent he has done his research on his guests.  The interview with Stephen Rebello about the making of Hitchcock's Psycho was a treat.  I highly recommend Stephen's book, Alfred Hitchcock and The Making of Psycho.  I re-read it often.  The interview with William Deresiewicz who has written The Death of The Artist: How Creators Are Struggling to Survive in the Age of Billionaires and High Tech, was insightful for me as an artist that has been impacted by the pandemic.  I will be tuning in to more of Richard's interviews.  By the way, we are not related.

I've done a lot of interviews for my book The Death of the Artist, but my conversation with Richard was truly moving and special. It's very different to talk about the lives and plights of artists with someone who knows that world from the inside than it is with a podcaster or radio host. Richard Skipper took us to places that my other interviews have not gone. He has a real talent for connecting with people. Thank you, Richard!

What a joy it was to be interviewed by the legendary Richard Skipper on 10/26/2020. Richard is the perfect interviewer and his series is a wonderful celebration of this industry's most fascinating artists. We are all so lucky that Richard has created a forum for these illuminating discussions and that Richard navigates these moments so beautifully.

I loved being Richard Skipper's guest 10/27/20. As always, we hit it off with the questions that he asked. Richard is so good at what he does and it was a great opportunity to interact with him online. And FUN!!! There is so much to talk about although I was surprised that I spoke so openly. I credit that to Richard! I feel so comfortable in his company. Thank you and to be continued.💕
