Marvelous Richard Skipper interviewed brilliant, effervescent Elaine Ballace, who provides boundless levity and authenticity while being much-needed down-to-earth ballast during these stormy, turbulent, uncertain times. Acknowledgements to wonderful Rose Apuzzo for suggesting today's guest interview. Two premises and themes today that were just two of the insightful takeaways from the valuable conversation: write your history, especially to document for posterity your experiences and thoughts on this particularly crucial, unprecedented period of human history; and, kindness, courtesy, and etiquette, and civility -- which are at a premium these tumultuous days -- must prevail especially now. Other pertinent, timeless, timely topics include (please view the interview if you already haven't): useful, helpful, constructive versus hurtful criticism; getting into show business versus getting out of it; becoming insatiable about the attraction of being in it; staying in the irresistible game, and being adaptable and diversified in it; the importance of camaraderie and a sense of community in show business; and much more.
