Richard, thank you for a wonderful show in Palm Springs at The Revolution Stage Company. Hello, Dolly was my high school musical in my senior year, and I have always followed it with great affection. I knew much of what you shared, and learned much more. And of course, Carol Channing lived for many years here in Palm Springs, and she was a national treasure. Richard is a handsome, charming, loving, talented man that I have known for two decades. He is a wonderful showman, and his latest show saluting 60 years of "Hello, Dolly!" is amazing!

 

Richard is a wonderful storyteller, an insightful interviewer and really knows how to put over a song! I cannot imagine anyone who sees it not having a wonderful time and wanting more!

Richard Skipper is so goddamned charming and I learned a lot as he took the audience on an affectionate ride through 60 years of HELLO, DOLLY! He’s put together a sweet and entertaining evening, with visuals and audio aids and we were rapt students in the class of a master who knew his subject(s) well. He’s charming (as stated earlier), charismatic and sings really well. He,also, is so at ease in front of He has excellent timing in his story-telling and is quick with a quip.  The evening flew by, assisted by a trio of musicians and, apparently, Richard has just begun performing this piece and may soon be coming to a town near you.
