He's made us believe that we were watching and hearing either Dolly Levi or Lorelei Lee and has captured and nailed every little nuance of Carol Channing. He's honed his art to absolute perfection; the voice,appearance and that special way of talking that is Carol's personal signature.He's got that special quality called "charisma" on stage and is completely captivating during his entire performance Its a wonderful night of entertainment and I know that I personally was talking about it for a long time afterwards,encouraging friends and family to go run to see him if a theater where he was playing was accessible to them.He provides his audience with a great night of talent and imagination,the consumate entertainer.

You had the politicians up on the stage dancing and the entire audience totally enjoying your performance.

He is a marvelous performer and captures Carol Channing's essence and magic, all the while conveying his great love and respect for her. I have only seen him perform once briefly at the Dancers Over 40 tribute to Gower Champion and it has whet my appetite for more. Can't wait to have the chance to see Richard's full show -- anytime, anywhere! Best of all, Richard is a real love of a person and it is so wonderful that I have gotten to spend a little time with him and get to know him. It was an honor to share the stage in "Hello, Dolly!" at The Paramount Theatre. The streets of Asbury Park and beyond are still buzzing about it. I can't wait to see Richard's return to Asbury Park at McCloone's.

No matter where you are, if you see Richard performing in any manner, be it Dolly or as himself or ? YOu will do your self an enormous favor by attending any performance of his.. He is a unique talent that is not to be missed. I have seen him numerous times, including his performance at the request of Harry Kullijian, Ms Channing's husband, and Carol herself(!) and if you could have been there or were to see and hear how she feels about his tribute to her, well, I was, and was so glad to make the trip from Fl. to NY for just that reason.
