City, State: East Norwalk, CT Comments: HELLO, DOLLY! Or HELLO, RICHARD!!!!! If you are looking to have Dolly Levi portrayed by an entertainer that truly can get “into” her role; its Richard Skipper! I have been a fan of Richard for many years, and seeing him portray Carol in many roles, I still am not able, to differentiate who, the REAL Carol, is. It is truly amazing and something you must witness yourself. This is an honest testimonial and I defy anyone to disagree after seeing Richard perform on stage. He is a true craftsman in the role; dedicated to his profession and truly incomparable to anyone else who has ever portrayed Carol Channing on any stage. Richard’s performances are commanding; his expression, his demeanor, his authenticity is unsurpassed. If you are casting for the role of Dolly Levi, you will be committing a grave mistake by not choosing Richard Skipper. Always dramatic, always with heart, always with soul, Richard always delivers. Please cast Richard for the role of Dolly Levi in your upcoming production. Your audience will be standing and cheering and so will you. Joe Gunches

City, State: Edison & Ocean Grove NJ Comments: RICHARD SKIPPER performing CAROL CHANNING at Tim McLoone's Supper Club August 2, 2008. This had to be one of the most entertaining evenings I have enjoyed this summer, only second to his performance of Carol Channing as Dolly Levi in HELLO DOLLY!. Richard was in a word: "FABULOUS"! I'm already looking forward to his next appearance.
