City, State: New York, NY Comments: Richard's performance as Carol is neither impersonation nor exageration; he simply embodies Carol. Having once had the "real" Carol address my theater school, I especially appreciate his spot on interaction with the audience that changes from night to night, and leads to some of the funniest material of the evening while he remains absolutely true to being Carol. What is there left to say but Richard as Carol is the razzzzzzzberries.

There is a sort of spontaneous joy that happens in the room as "Carol" takes over. What a wonderful way to spend an evening.

We were all enthralled by his portrayal of her, his engaging personality and sense of humor. I would recommend this show to anyone who wants a great night at the theater! I have told many, many friends about Richard Skipper and we have all become "new found" fans. My only regret is that we hadn't discovered him sooner! City, State: Bronx, N.Y. Comments: Seeing Richard Skipper glowing on stage over twenty years after we first performed together in the Nerian Players...what a joy! We (the Nerian fan club) are bursting with pride over his triumphs. Everything was on the money - his audience interaction, his 'chorus' of talented performers, and especially, his portrayal of Carol. She must be thrilled to have him in her life!
